I have a very good friend who’s been a missionary to Africa for many years. I’ve know this guy and his wife for decades. He’s scheduled to fly to Liberia today, but is a little doubtful. He’s been in very dangerous situations in Kenya, the Congo, etc. but this one is giving him pause. I sent him a short message on his Facebook account. I do fear for him and her each time they go …

Thank you Lady Raven. I have to tell you, this guy is probably the only person I can admit to being what I wish I could be, but I don’t know if I have the courage and I don’t fear much. Every couple of months Rina and I will meet Dale (the guy) and his wife for dinner and they are just awesome people.
I contribute fairly regularly to his ministry as he has no church backing.
I admire him for his courage and dedication immensely.
That is quite the statement.
