The Battle For Bundy Ridge

Yesterday Canada remembered the anniversary of the Battle of Vimy Ridge. It was a costly war. Many, many died. Yesterday’s very heated conflict in Nevada and what seems to be coming down the pipeline made me think – this is the battle for Bundy Ridge.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal

From near and wide, armed men are trickling toward Cliven Bundy’s ranch, where the rancher’s fight with the federal government has become a rallying cry for militia groups across the United States.

On Wednesday, that dispute teetered at the edge of deadly conflict, when Cliven Bundy’s family members and supporters scuffled with rangers from the Bureau of Land Management sent to protect the federal roundup of Bundy’s cattle on public land.

One of Bundy’s seven sons was shot with a stun gun, and Bundy’s sister was knocked to the ground; but no one was seriously hurt, and no arrests were made. Continue here.

Yesterday there was this from Battlefield USAAbout those Tortoises… Come to find out BLM has been killing the creatures?

And Sheriff Mack and others will hold a press conference in Vegas Monday. That sure seems a long time away right now Sheriff?

The Battle for Bundy Ridge. I don’t like it but I think that is what we are looking at.
